This Staplehurst garden has been designed as a relaxed outdoor living space, combining a contemporary garden room with a soft, country-style planting scheme. The main garden room creates a sheltered entertaining area, complete with an outdoor kitchen, barbecue, pizza oven, wall-mounted TV, bar storage and comfortable seating. Its dark grey structure gives the space a modern architectural feel, while the warm timber cladding behind softens the look and helps it sit naturally within the garden.

The surrounding garden design balances structure with informality. Large paved terraces and gravel pathways create clear routes through the space, leading between dining areas, seating spots and the garden room. A mixture of clipped hedging, mature trees, potted plants and loose perennial borders gives the garden a layered, established feel.

Mediterranean touches run throughout the design, including the olive tree, blue ceramic pots, lavender-style planting, gravel paths and relaxed café seating. These are paired with traditional Kentish character from the brick path, timber buildings and lush cottage-style planting.
